I Never Thought I Would Return To a Civil Fight Moment

 I look at this present electoral climate and wonder was Trump's election fixed? I mean, after all, I cannot conceive of judgmental, opinionated Americans electing a felon, a purveyor of lies, the expert in hyperbolic obfuscation, etc. Ironically, the forceful scourge to purge DEI from all entities receiving federal grants and monies appeared starkly contradictory as the president and his core were employing what DEI is about: diversity (Trump hired all types of criminals in his cabinet and heads of government departments and agencies; equity (No matter your title, race, or gender, Trump fired anyone who worked in, on, or near a DEI  department, Trump forbade any government agency to hire these former DEI scoundrels); and lastly inclusion (Trump made sure to include anyone who ever spoke ill of him, alleged he lied or deceived, and misquoted everything whispered in his ear. Trump enjoined Elon Musk to tear down the wallpaper and put us sheet rock (Elon tore apart government agencies cause massive layoffs and firing).  Moreover, transparently contradictory, if not laughable, is the Trump temerity to clean house with a dirty sponge. True his word, Trump has hired from the DEI pile: bandits, white supremacist extremists, marauders, thieves, despots, and debased figureheads of the bastions of the money pot.  The groups and individual bandits employed to replace the honest and stellar federal employees, were either pardoned, once jailed, designated as rich and powerful, and were inexperienced to serve on high commands and positions. The people Trump hired were diversely and equally incompetent.. These pigeons were not excluded from intimate government secrets because of prior crimes or criminal activity such as breaking and entering, effacing, destruction of government property, premeditated murder or assault, and an attempt at a military couple. Mr. Trump has lauded what my lying eyes thought was a horrific historical event and diminished the crime scene as overexcited, but lost tourists and shoppers. He pardoned over 1500 people jailed awaiting trial, or jailed while doing time, and freed because of time served. The felons are now in charge of domestic terrorism, the head of security forces, or work with Elon Musk prying legally into ordinary citizens’ personal business (I cannot get my son’s college grades without his permission, and I pay the tuition!)

 For as deeply wounded as I am that Trump has returned to stomp his feet aggravating a tsunami of confusion, what overwhelms and weakens my resolve in the apparent inaction of my elected officials on both side of the aisle. Their silence sounds like acquiescence to Donald’s given power and threats. I am ashamed of my elected officials. They provide no information, no strategy to oppose Donald, and no bravery. Every day, a kid walks an urban street praying that he or she is not approached by gang members. Perhaps the kid will get a pass; maybe he will have to fight. But the one thing the kid must do is go home. My elected officials have found a shortcut and will not fight to preserve all that is familiar and right.
